Coursework Projects

Below I have some of my coursework projects saved, this includes my time both at Claremont McKenna College and Columbia University.

These projects show of some of my skills in machining, CAD, and other fabrication methods.

Toy Plane

This project required us to model a children's toy using 1:1 scale. We were given the toy and had to reverse engineer and model each part.

Arithmetic Children’s Toy

For this project we were assigned to come up with a original design, for a children’s toy, which teaches basic math skills. The arithmetic toy consists of two knobs that move lenses to display different numbers. Where the two lenses align, the result of the operation appears. The toy includes interchangeable cards for different operations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, etc.), making it a dynamic and interactive learning tool.

Machining Projects

LiDAR Scanner

This project entailed creating a LiDAR scanner, which created 3D maps of the environment. I tested different scan rates to compare the resolution, post processing of the data was done with point cloud filtering via MatLab.
